Every Sunday during the summer (from mid-June to early September), explore traditions with local craftsmen and artists: long winter evenings of the past, an old school, folklore and legends, former trades (weaver, clog-maker, baker, basket worker, shingle maker, wine-growing in a mountainous area…)
 

 

Sunday 8 July and 25 August at 2.30 pm

The Tourist Information Office

has created a slide-show presenting

the most beautiful sites of the region.

Wine-growing around Albé followed
by wine-tasting in
the 18th century cella rat the museum.
 
 
 
Sunday 22 July at 2.30 pm
Visit the traditional craftsmen at
work in the Museum. They’ll be thrilled
to demonstrate their trade.
 
 

 

 

Sunday 29 July at 2.30 pm
Participate in a traditional Alsatian evening in the
dining-room of the Museum: like our forefathers, listen
to stories, jokes, discussions about life such as it was.

Wonder at the expertise of the baker who uses the traditional wood-fired oven.
 
 
 
  
15 km from Sélestat, going into Villé,
Albé welcomes you at 6 pm
for the 18th edition of “Albé lights up”.
Guides accompanied with the night watchman
will meet you at 10 pm “Place du Tilleul”
and will recall the past of former mansions,
lit up for you. Entertainment,
demonstrations by craftsmen of trades
